Khumbulani Khuzwayo is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Myekeni, the older brother of Axe who is an inkobi in the KZN taxi business, in the third season of the e.tv drama series Z'bondiwe. It was his first starring role in television.
He auditioned for and was accepted to Duma Ndlovu's DNA Actor's Academy Workshop in 2015, an intensive theatre training course held at the Joburg Theatre. Thereafter he won his first role in television, in Ndlovu's soapie Muvhango.
Khumbulani subsequently landed a spate of guest starring roles in television, with appearances in the SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy, the e.tv dramas Hustle and The Alliance, the Mzansi Magic drama Saints and Sinners and the SABC1 drama series Ingozi.
He also had parts in the theatre productions of The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Antidote and The Caucasian Chalk Circle (The Return). In addition he had a guest role in the 2017 film Amandla, directed by Nerina de Jager.
In 2017 he landed his first starring role in television in the e.tv drama series Z'bondiwe - The Chase, the third and final season of the show. His character, Myekeni, heads to the city to revamp the Mambas gang following the death of his brother Axe
