I started practicing videography during my bachelor degree for a local student organisation ADUDA. Since then, I have developed a passion for video-making and encouraged by my lectures on cinema.
In 2016, I started to experiment with analogue photography, which induced into sharpening my photography and framing skills to date.
I enjoy reading, drawing, writing short stories and poems during my spare time. Oh! Boxing too.

I have decided to be a cinematographer in Tanzania in 2018 after completing my studies. Since then I have created my own small projects in order to keep experimenting with the video and photography medium.
Before that, I have produced small video-podcast and be part of short movie productions.
In the beginning of 2019, I started to train aspiring tanzanians filmmakers in film theory and film aesthetic with Ruka-Kipro, a company based in Nafasi Art space.
