I’m a graduate of Africa Digital Media Institute. As a filmmaker, Professional TV show and documentary producer with years of experience offering to fulfill the requirements of the position for a company in need.
For over 5 years experience having worked with a number of Organizations and humanitarian work . I have directed, produced and supervised various Media and Arts projects and Mass Information campaigns on thematic issues such as: Entrepreneurship, Youth Empowerment, Maternal and Child Health (MCH), Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF), /AIDS, Services for persons with Specific needs, Child protection, The Prevention of exploitation & abuse, & Gender Based Violence, Peace Building, Human Trafficking, Protection of women & Girls.
I am a very skilled person, whose work has become a benchmark of quality in communicating with Communities. For years, I have played lead roles in training staff in organizations on communicating with communities, media production and participatory video approaches. For the past 5 years I have had a close working relationship with partners such as Film Aid Kenya, TULLOW OIL PLC, COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF TURKANA, WORLD VISION – KENYA, NDMA,, UNHCR, IOM, WINDLE TRUST - KENYA , AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY OF MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION and IRC, documenting and Producing video based reports and Drama. Produced a documentaries on the development of geothermal in Kenya, sand harvesting, The last forest of Kakamega, Water to dust in collaboration with the Agah Khan University of Media and Communication, to be aired on NTV’s “GIVING NATURE VOICE”.
I’m skilled on Pre-Production and Production aspects of Filmmaking including Director of photography and an Award winning Editor. In addition to my extensive production experience I have worked with nearly all forms of audio –visual communications including animation for different social community organizations, NGO’s and Production Houses that use visual media as a tool for social transformation telling human-interest stories. I am an experienced filmmaker and photographer, a proficient manager with a proven track record; my experience will go a long way in providing a concise and vivid video documentation that will bring out the overall goal of the project.
In doing this I work with team members to develop and implement multimedia projects, including video production showcasing creativity and originality. I also involved in developing concepts, messages and story lines.
