bio
I am a digital artist and researcher driven by a passion for integrating African cultural heritage with cutting-edge technologies. I hold a BA (Hons) in Film & TV from The University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, where I honed my expertise in Colour Grading, Directing, Editing, and Sound Design.
Beyond my technical skills, I am deeply committed to research and humanitarian work. My interest in anthropology and cinema for disobedience profoundly influences my distinctive editing style and creative approach.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Digital Arts, focusing on the convergence of decolonial perspectives, African art, and Augmented Reality. My research and creative endeavors are dedicated to empowering and uplifting African narratives, bridging tradition with innovation. I am passionate about using technology to foster cultural resurgence and drive community development within the African diaspora.
