Freelance Media Consultant (October 2008 – Present)
I have created and produced a variety of video content and image-based graphics such as documentaries, campaign videos, promotional videos, motion graphics, infographics and instructional videos for a private video content agency called Noms Dynamic Icons Ltd. Working with team member of three through the WhatsApp social media group forum, ideas were shared as to how the agency can grow in popularity while building a strong client-base community. One of our strategies was to use the social media platform. I worked with the marketing director to create the company’s portfolio through YouTube and Facebook’s social media platform page. My task was to transform creative ideas, through brainstorming sessions of the team, into visual content in the form of storyboards, rough drafts and illustrations for review, amendment and approval. Furthermore, I assisted the marketing director in formulating write-ups for the agency’s portfolio (about the company, area of expertise, interest etc.) and oversaw the uploading and streaming of high-quality video/image contents produced. This resulted to an increase in engagement of audience interactivity through viewership, comments, recommendations, likings and rating for familiarity and popularity. Compelling videos I have produced are The Daughters of Abraham Foundation (Documentary), Atiku Abubakar’s-Peoples Democratic Party’s’ (PDP)campaign video, Muhammadu Buhari’s-All Progressive Congress’s (APC) campaign video, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal’s governorship campaign video, Noms Dynamic Icons ltd teaser video, motion infographic teaser for Nigerian Investment Promotion Council’s (NIPC)-Solid Minerals/Oil and Gas, and National Agency For The Prohibition Of Trafficking In Persons-NAPTIP.
