I am Mamoratuwa Motaung, an AFDA film graduate who majored in film producing. I’ve always loved storytelling from a very young age, I used to travel around South Africa performing theatrical acts, and when I got to high school I got introduced to production work. I was so excited and I didn’t know much but this was me, it was what I wanted and I did everything in my power to learn and keep learning this craft. I learned more at varsity and I didn’t know that there were other forms or mediums to tell a story, this showed me that I still have a lot to learn and the Magic in Motion internship is just the perfect place for me to grow, learn and not only take from but also contribute to MultiChoice’s legacy. What best describes me is my love for people, and the ability to connect with people from any background, status, and livelihood. With this personality, I get to hear a lot of untold amazing stories that I believe need to be heard and that is why I aspire to be one of the most incredible creative producers Africa has been waiting for.
