Born and bred in the dusty, yet well-organized streets of Marulaneng, Ga Sekhukhune, Limpopo, my name Letago Molapo, a 25-year-old Johannesburg based art and cultural activist, actor, storyteller, writer and facilitator. My career highlights include performing in which was staged at the 2022 National Arts Festival in Makhanda, under the direction of the award-winning director Josias Dos Moleele, and choreographer Mdu Nhlapo. In 2020 I was cast for a musical about the life of Kgoši Sekhukhune at The South African State Theatre, directed by Mpho Molepo, choreographed and music directed by Thabo Rapoo, and later that year I also won the SePedi Music Awards male co-host search competition. I currently work for Story and Breath as a traditional, biblical and autobiographical storyteller and story coach under the curatorship of Baeletsi Tsatsi.
