ADEBISI ADEMOLA is a young, versatile and dynamic film maker who, having close to no-resources—since he made the decision to transit from stage plays to motion pictures—has continue to wow with his works.
To give life to his dreams, he needed to move from a “state of inertia”. He graduated from the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria with a Second-class upper degree, not in films and Television, but in Biology and Genetics. Nonetheless, driven by passion, he has been able to acquire the required, hands-on skills in cinematography, editing and directing and has not stopped learning, still—recently, he added screenwriting to the pile.
Since journeying into the world of film making, he has directed, shot, edited and produced festival-nominated films such as; CALL OUT, a film on advocacy against , DOOM & SAFETY, a film about health and the environment, amidst several other films and documentaries.
He hopes to change the narratives in his country someday.
