Louis Kironde is a dynamic communication strategist, journalist, and creative visual storyteller with a passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and community development. With a background in Industrial and Fine Art, he leverages his expertise in multimedia, photography, and videography to amplify the impact of startups, innovators, and social enterprises.
Currently serving as a Communication Strategist at Makerere Innovation Pod, Louis enhances brand visibility through strategic campaigns, compelling content, and industry partnerships. He also documents groundbreaking innovation projects and supports multimedia-based lectures. His work extends to Healthy Heart Foundation Uganda, where he coordinates programs and strategic communication, ensuring impactful health initiatives.
Beyond communication, Louis is deeply engaged in youth empowerment and entrepreneurship. As Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of Central Youth MG Cooperative, he supports young farmers in Uganda. His leadership experience includes serving as Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Kitante and President of the Makerere University Fine Students Association.
A skilled voice actor and event emcee, Louis brings energy and professionalism to weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings. He also curates exhibitions, such as the Youth and Innovation Art Exhibition & Fashion Show, showcasing young creatives.
His passion for storytelling and capacity building is evident in his quarterly photography training program, where he nurtures the next generation of visual artists. Louis is also leading efforts to establish an integrated piggery farm, promoting sustainable farming through biogas production and organic fertilizer.
Recognized for his contributions, Louis has represented Uganda at Youth Connekt Africa and played a key role in industry dialogues and entrepreneurship training. Whether through media, innovation, or community-driven projects, he remains committed to driving impactful change across sectors
