Assistant Producer Jul-2020 to Nov-2020
Show: Served as the Assistant Producer for the Chozi show which aired on Maisha Magic Plus and Maisha Magic East. My main role involved content creation of engaging stories to be featured on the show in respect of the following:
Key Responsibilities
• Conducted research and produced high-level concise and factual reports clearly representing findings;
• Utilized my technical knowledge on camera operations combined with my in-depth understanding of lighting, sound and the use of various software packages for editing and high-quality presentation;
• Meticulously prioritized workload to ensure that all production including sourcing, writing, shots and editing were completed and delivered within the stipulated deadlines;
• Governed the operations of the project by reviewing the scripts, logistics, art and liaising with heads of department to ensure their budgets were submitted to the producer before the deadlines;
• Ensured the set was always ready and presentable before filming;
• Spearheaded the tracking of all project schedules and milestones across all development departments, and ensured these were in line with the producer’s requirements throughout all the stages of production;
• Held responsibility for delivering the correct cast and crew credits to the editors for all shows;
• Acted as the administrator ensuring that all release forms were scanned and saved at the end of each shoot and submitted to the production house.

Production Assistant Mar-2020 to Jun-2020
Reporting to the Head of Production, my main role predominantly involved sourcing for content in terms of personalities and guests to feature on the shows in respect of the following:
Key Responsibilities
• Conducted research to write content ,specifically episode synopsis;
• Interviewed and built a rapport with featured guests in order to bring out the key facts within their stories;
• Researched articles and trending topics to gain inspiration for the creation of potential featured shows;
• Maintained and established relationships with key contacts in order to build cohesive working relationships and assist with story sourcing;
KTN FARMERS TV
TV Producer Intern Sep-2019 to Dec-2019
Reporting to the Supervising Producer, my main role involved sourcing for guest farmers to be featured on the show and logistics in respect of the following:
Key Achievements
• Acted as the point of contact for crew members and provided overall guidance in terms of coordination of camera and transportation units and directing the crew while on the field;
• Previewed footage and scripting for the half hour shows and supervised editing of the shows to ensure quality delivery of content;
• Conducted interviews during shoots and conducted in-depth research for the creation of new shows;
• Produced two shows – The Horticulture Show and the Sheep and Goats Show.
