Sseggujja Micheal is an Actor based in Kampala, Uganda.
He made his theatre debut in Silent voices’ GAAD Directed by renowned play write and director Adong Judith in 2016 portraying the role of Muggaga and Kaggwa. Later in 2017, he portrayed Buntu Muntu and Commander Nathan in Silent voices’ JustMeYou and the Silence also directed by Adong Judith. He went on to portray Bond in the Twist (2018) a play by Public health ambassadors Uganda.
He Appeared in Kyenvu, a short film by Kemiyondo Coutinho, And has appeared in Kafa Kor a film by Doreen Mirembe And directed by Kenyan Renowned Actor and Director Lukalia Gilbert.
He has been a part of Ngalabi Short film festival in 2018 and 2019 where he has worked with London based Director Femi kolade. He has worked with renowned Ugandan Writer and director Patricia Olwoc both in Kampala international theatre festival and Ngalabi short film festival.
He is working on a number of projects which are still in production.
He quit his full time job as a Graphic designer to Pursue his career as an actor.
When Sseggujja is off stage, he is a freelance Motion, graphic, and product designer. He is also enthusiastic about photography, film and visual effects, currently working relentlessly to study and add them to his set of skills. He is Co¬¬¬¬¬¬-founder SEATPACK AFRICA, Innovation and Production Manager at Zetu Africa and He is the Lead graphic designer at Elupe Uganda. He has also worked on Numerous Animation projects at Crossroads digital multimedia ltd as motion designer, compositor and is also a teacher of motion graphics
Sseggujja did his UACE (Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education) at Masaka Secondary school and then Joined Makerere University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and fine arts from the Margaret trowel school if industrial and fine arts.
He is a Proud African And A proud Father of one.
