Douglas Mwaula a 26 year old Zambian Actor, Filmmaker,International Award winning Photographer and aPhotojournalist.
Studied Acting and Film-making at SOTAMBE FILM INSTITUTE and various Master classes.
As an actor he featured in Zuba S06 TV Show Which is onShowmax, Mpali S05 TV Show the best and most popular TVshow in Zambia. He also featured in UBUNTU S03 TV Show which is on Showmax, and he has also done a couple ofadverts for Trade Kings, Zambia International film Festival.
As a Cinematographer he has worked as a Camera man andfilmed 2 Documentaries LUBINDA NTONGO TraditionalCeremony by KOPALA Films and the Mushroom Grower byMedo Creatives and a short Film titled The Bird by RightMedia which has been nominated and won Internationalawards in over 6 film festivals so far.
As a Director he has worked on Commercials for SOTAMBEFILM INSTITUTE, Zambia International Film Festival and ashort film titled Bad Blood which was his Graduation projectfrom SOTAMBE FILM INSTITUTE.
As a Manager (PM) he worked at the Zambia International FilmFestival as an Assistant Director to run the festival/Execution.
As a Photographer/Photo-journalist he worked as aphotographer Zambia International Film Festival a competition(PORTRAITS OF OUR FUTURE) Initiated by Design Manchester,organized by the University Of Bolton in United Kingdom (UK)and SOTAMBE FILM INSTITUTE Zambia, this was his recentwork that earned him a Trip to Bolton UK
