Doreen Mirembe, I am 30 years old award-winning actress, writer and producer of the award-winning film ‘A Dog Story’. I started my acting career in school. I have been awarded best actress of the year 2016 I have acted in both film and stage plays, and adverts. I have discipline as well as respect for my work. I’m very passionate about acting and film making. I started acting in high school, and recently finished Script writing with Maisha film school.
I have written and produced 2 short films A Dog Story, Nector and recently working on a feature film ‘KAFA COH' and I am also acting in an NTV drama series titled ‘Deception’ as ‘Dr. Stephan’. My recent call was for ‘Queen of Katwe’ where I acted a ‘Camel’ role.
Film is the one thing I want to do for the rest of my life and I’m working towards having a great career as a write and film maker.
