Since joining Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) in 1989, his career has transitioned through various news and entertainment institutions, where he has developed his skill set and knowledge in video and audio production as a director and producer.
Berry is an experienced senior executive in broadcast management with well rounded and applied Leadership skills. He combines his expertise in broadcasting with the applied knowledge in audio video productions in both the fiction and none fiction genre.

His role as a communications skills trainer and mentor at the Zambia Institute of Mass Communication (ZAMCOM), which provides short-term media training for practicing media practitioners, has taken him across the English-speaking SADC region.
Berry gained in-depth knowledge of the broadcast production value chain when he served as the Director of Programmes for Zambia’s National Broadcaster and was responsible for strategy and programming across radio and television. Later delving into executive-level broadcast management as Director of digital migration at ZNBC. He was also integral in introducing Parliament Television – a screening of the National Assembly of Zambia – that was launched in February 2018.
