Vigilance is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts (Film and Theatre Arts) from Kenyatta University, with over 5 years of experience in the film industry having worked as a Producer, Production Manager, Production Designer, and Costume Designer . She is an Alumni fellow of Ladima Foudation, Creative producing cohort 2020. A production design nominee in Kalasha Awards (2018) and Women in Film Awards (2020 &2022). Vigilance works as the festival manager for Lake International Pan-African Film Festival (LIPFF). She has worked as a researcher in the creative economy and film jury member.
