I’m Moses Chanda, Talented Zambian filmmaker — a Director, Actor, Cinematographer, Writer, and Editor with over 11 years of professional experience in film and visual storytelling.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with leading production houses and brands, including Kopala Films, MotionPixel Studios, and Ideas Inc. I am also the Founder and CEO of Black 95 Studios, a creative powerhouse dedicated to crafting bold, emotionally resonant, and visually striking stories.
My filmmaking journey has taken me across the world from Zambia, South Africa, Tanzania, and Malawi to China, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and the United States allowing me to blend diverse cultural influences into a distinctive cinematic language.
What sets me apart is my strong visual identity: I approach each project with a photographer’s eye, a director’s vision, and an editor’s rhythm creating imagery that feels alive, cinematic, and deeply human. My work is known for its emotional depth, visual boldness, and precise storytelling rhythm, blending realism with a signature aesthetic that captures both the beauty and chaos of life.
