Aser Studio a diverse youthful energetic and authentically African media production
company combines classic storytelling form with textures of provocative and creative
content through effective contemporary visual dynamic style that appeals to the
vision of the client. Situated in Gauteng Aser Studio has consistently developed its
unique style as an authentic narrator of quality entertaining storytelling on the
continent Africa.
Owners Phumelele Mbanda and Temitope Ajileye began their collaborative journey
as classmates at Tshwane University of technology while both were studying Film
and Television production. Having attained their degrees the pair continued to
harness their skills through work in the in media and television space while growing
their respective disciplines in scriptwriting, content development, directing and
cinematography. Together the pair created the award winning short film Forgotten
Names in 2019. Aser Films has experienced recent success with some of the
production work we have collaborated on airing channels which includes Mzansi
magic, Mtv base, SABC, and other television bodies across the African continent.
The collaborative experience of the in-house team includes the production of award-
winning feature films, commercials, music videos, short films, live events, and new
media content.
The company has three areas of focus and speciality:
- Aser films established for our live-action production.
- Aser Studio is where our technical work thrives in post-production editorial, visual
effects, advertising and motion graphics.
- Aser Sonics, for original music and sound design.
Aser studio’s creative team has consistently sort to develope their presence and
profile in the media space and as a result, the company continues its creative
ambition into the local advertising and branding space. The company continues to
establish and develope productive and creative relationships with some of the
countries well established and reputable Advertising agencies and brand developers.
The work portfolio in this space includes the production of theatrical trailers, the
creation of main title design and sequence, development of social media videos, and
installation presentations.
