Karen Ngoma is a make-up artist specialized in special effects and beauty make-up. She loves people and people love to feel beautiful, which is the reason she has spent a year and half engulfed in doing make-up. She believes if one feels comfortable in their skin, then one can spend their energy loving others and enjoying life, instead of worrying and being self-conscious “I AM BEAUTIFUL, MAKE-UP IS TO ENHANCE”
Karen Ngoma has always loved to doll up herself in make-up but drive and passion to venture into beauty make-up came from her desire to overcome societies discrimination against disability and the handicapped.
In 2012 on the 29th of October, she was involved in a road traffic accident which broke her right hand and thus lead to incapability to use. As the saying goes disability does not mean inability, for her it just means she’s differently abled.
After doing beauty make-up for individuals and weddings for 10 months she challenged her ability, creativity and art with special make-up effects. Lately she’s more involved in special make-up effects in movie productions and has kept on practicing in order to improve her talent and art
Karen Ngoma commenced her career working with Triumph media and Ubuntu media productions, she has been involving herself in photo shoots, fashion shows and countless weddings.
Totally addicted to her job, you will find Karen making the world a more beautiful place, elbow in make-up, researching make-up, experiencing with make-up or daydreaming about make-up
