bio

I started to learn about screenwriting in 2005 when I realised all the films on the Ghanaian screen were all about good and evil. I felt I could do more than that and so I started learning from online portals.

I am a passionate about media and its uniqueness, especially in transforming the lives of audiences. I am skilled writer and editor and I am still learning to perfect my craft, hoping that I will be able to transform lives through the screen.

I have a good taste in reading and writing, mostly unconventionally, and currently looking for opportunities to get more involved in filmmaking. I am also addicted to the camera, although not professionally trained - it rekindles my interest.

experience

I have written screenplays (Noko Fio Season 2 and Bombo Clinic)for Kofas Media (Ghana). I have also adapted stories into screenplays for Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, Ghana. I have also reviewed screenplays as part of my job as an editor with Gird Center.

I have also been involved in writing screenplays most of which are not produced yet. E.g.; I co-wrote a screenplay for co-production by Kofas Media and OldFilm in December 2018.

I also took part in the Kasa Mfoni Screenplay contest in 2015 in which I was one of the three winners.

On 3-4 April, 2019, I tutored a group of young men and women who took part in the University workshop organised at the African Regent Hotel, Accra. On the first day, I taught screenplay formatting and on the second day, I reviewed some of their short screenplays.
