Being one of the 1st of seven Qualified Pro-Tools Operators in Music and Post Production in Africa, Collis has been spearheaded forward by his passion and drive for the entertainment industry. A qualified senior sound engineer and Sound Engineering Lecturer, Collis is always pushing his boundaries in everything he lays his hands on. There are no limitations when this guy is involved, and there is always a solution for every problem he comes across. Collis has a vast knowledge of software and hardware, fully computer literate in Apple Macintosh & Intel Windows, he is always trying to better his environment, improving his skills and that of his colleagues, never afraid to take the plunge into the deep end, he works well under pressure, & thrives off the hustle & bustle of an ever evolving industry, meeting deadlines even if it means being available around the clock,he is a quick thinker and a fast learner, never forgetting what he's learnt, and always willing to learn, a modest, humble guy who strives and gives 100%, Collis has a “can-do” attitude can never say "NO" and always willing to go the extra mile. Collis is forever growing and learning new things everyday and is never afraid to accept constructive criticism,and he is definitely a team player, a real peoples person. His extensive experience in dealing with clients makes him indispensable to the industry, building a professional working relationship with all his clients, his ability to deliver product that is world quality has made him the top-quality engineer & person that he is today. Collis is a very technically and technologically minded person, which is not to say that he isn't logical & strategic either, because, in this ever evolving industry, he keeps himself on his toes,doing his own after hours research, and he is also somewhat of a perfectionist, if there's a possibility that a product can be perfect or close to, then that's exactly what his goal is, at the end of the day, the clients' needs are what's important, and will do anything it takes to provide satisfaction, but also finds a balance between budget, time & product perfection. He takes initiative when problems arise, taking charge of a situation to do everything in his power to come to a solution. He takes all jobs seriously & is effective in his endeavours, which culminate in client satisfaction. Collis' passion for the industry has shown throughout his career, and has achieved & grown bountifully during his career, excellent relations with industry leaders, with an ambitious drive to succeed.
