Godwin Omijie is a Film, Media, and Brand Executive. With six years of comprehensive experience in media production, he has proven himself as an Alumnus of EbonyLife Creative Academy and a certified Cinematographer, Video Editor, and Location Sound Mixer.
Godwin Omijie's diverse skill set includes drone piloting, in-studio set maintenance, lighting arrangement, and image synchronization. As the Founder and Lead Creative Director of Royal Sun Studios, he offers services such as media production, digital marketing, branding, and training. However, Royal Sun Studios has partnered with several global brands such as SONY and Hollyland Academy.
In 2018, he worked in the Government House (Cross Rivers, Nigeria) and provided his expertise as a Cinematographer. In 2019, he served as the official Videographer for Miss Africa 2019. In 2020, he took charge of directing and editing 6 CNN Commercials for Gtext Homes. In 2021, he served as the Director for Africa's leading commercial manufacturer of premium bags - BAGCO Zerofly Commercial.
As a person focused on results, he was showcased on Hi-Impact TV sharing insights on the entrepreneurial aspects of photography. Godwin Omijie serves as the Brand Manager for "Rise with Dr. Oberaifo Udoh" - a campaign aimed at nurturing 1,000 resilient brands in the Real Estate or non-real Estate sectors. These brands contribute to creating opportunities, reducing poverty, and bolstering Nigeria and Africa's economic progress and stability.
He was honored with an Award of Special Recognition from the Languages Students Association (LANSA) Department of Modern Languages and Translation Studies - Faulty of Art and Humanity, University of Calabar. This award was in acknowledgment of his significant contribution to the growth of youth in the Film and Media Industry.
Godwin Omijie volunteered at the Realtime International Film Festival and is a Peace Mindset Ambassador and Global Citizen. His mission is to add value from generation to generation, fulfilling the purpose of Humanity. He is also an award-winning Location Sound Mixer and Sound Designer for the Short Film - Tales from the Toilet.
Currently, he is the Teaching Assistant for Sound Recording and Production for Film and TV at EbonyLife Creative Academy. He has supervised over 18 multiple award-winning short films as an Assistant Supervising Sound Editor.
