I have a Diploma in Performing Arts - Specialized in Drama, Contemporary Dance Choreography and Film Acting from The Institute of Arts and Culture Bagamoyo ( TASUBA )

experience

2012-2019: I worked as an actress in Theater plays ( Image Theater) with a Non-governmental Organization called Tanzania Community Civic Initiatives as an actress. I have worked in 7 different regions in Tanzania promoting the awareness of Human rights especially the girl’s right to school and women rights to inherit land and other properties. I have also participated in educating youth on taking responsibilities within their communities towards socio economic development and empowerment

2017- 2018: Vijana Tuamke Sasa” Youth Lets wake up now! A project that urges youth to wake up and take charge on their own social development empowerment through organized Youth Platforms and I was the Artists Facilitator.

  • I also had an opportunity to work in Kenya with group of artists on radio play called TUNDA and KIBUYU CHA SULEMANI as a voice actress and a script writer.   

2011-2012: I did practical training conducted by the Department of Education, City council as a Cultural officer, visiting various groups of Arts and Primary and Secondary schools for Artistic education.

2010- 2011: I worked with Theogine Niwenshat Totto from National University of Rwanda, which included traditional dance and contemporary dance in Bagamoyo, Tanzania.

2009- 2010: I worked with the Art and Culture Institute in Bagamoyo as the stage actress and a traditional dancer on the Dance, Arts and Culture festival.

2009 – 2010: Acted on “CHUKUA PIPI” The Sweet Deceits, the film was about the tradition of polygamous marriage and transmitted diseases.

2004- 2006: I worked with Tanganyika wattle Company to address gender issues and other transmitted diseases as an Artists and Instructor.
