Tinashe Tafadzwa Karavina is currently in the process of completing his national diploma in Information Technology at Bulawayo Polytechnic.
Born on the 27th of May 1992, in the city of Kings and Queens, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He attended Founders High School for his secondary education, where he was introduced to computer studies and his love for computers grew. By the end of his first year of high school he had assembled his first computer from scratch. Repairing and fixing computers fast became a talent and hobby and so did his technical abilities to deal with all kinds of electronic gadgets.
In 2016, he enrolled for information technology and completed his national certificate and the year commencing after that he went on to the diploma level. During, his third year he developed a love for radio presenting and aspires to be in that industry one day. In 2018 he got the opportunity to go on industrial attachment at the Lupane State University.
During his time at LSU he was in the ICTS (Information Communications Technology Services) department. The department was also responsible for handling all university media productions in collaboration with the Public Relations department. ICTS members were mostly tasked with photography and video filming of LSU events, promotional content and post-production. This is where he learnt all the technical aspects of media productions. He attended workshops where he learnt about professionalism in photography and videography. It is there that he was introduced to working with adobe software’s such as Photoshop, light room, premiere pro just to name a few.
He saw multichoice talent factory as an opportunity to get involved in media and learn more about the industry. With his IT skills, versatility and love for media he will be a great asset to any team.
