What are some of the biggest challenges you've faced while working on this movie production, and how have you overcome them?

One of the biggest challenges I faced while working on this movie production was the unpredictable weather. We had to work around rainy days, which caused delays and made it difficult to keep to the tight schedule. To overcome this challenge, we had to be flexible with our shooting plans and adapt quickly to changes in the weather. We also made sure to have contingency plans in place, such as having indoor shooting options ready to go.

What have you learned about the filmmaking process so far, and how has this experience influenced your career aspirations?

Through my experience working on this movie production, I've learned a lot about the various stages of the filmmaking process, from pre-production planning to post-production editing. I've gained a greater appreciation for the amount of work and collaboration that goes into making a film, and this experience has inspired me to pursue a career in filmmaking, specifically as a director or producer.

Can you describe your role on the set of the movie production?

I am actually the co-director of the film Areyeng Jozi alongside, Alex.

What has been the most exciting or rewarding experience you've had while working on this film production, and why?

The most exciting experience I've had while working on this production was when we finally got a challenging scene, we had been working on for hours especially given the murky weather conditions. It was incredibly satisfying to see all the planning and effort we had put into it pay off. It was a great reminder of why I love working in film.

In your opinion, what makes this particular movie production unique or different from other film projects you've worked on in the past?

What makes this particular  production unique is the story we are telling and the language that we are telling it in. It's a very personal story that has the potential to resonate with a wide audience.

What advice would you give to aspiring filmmakers who are just starting out, and looking to break into the film industry?

My advice to aspiring filmmakers would be to never stop learning and growing. Take advantage of every opportunity to gain experience and learn from others in the industry.

How do you approach collaboration and teamwork on a movie set, and what strategies have you found to be most effective in this regard?

Collaboration and teamwork are essential on a movie set. I approach it by always being respectful and open to feedback, and by being willing to take on any task that needs to be done.

Can you describe any new skills or techniques you've learned while working on this movie production, and how you plan to apply them in your future work?

While working on this movie production, I've learned a lot about effective and constructive criticism, and how it can be used to build and motivate the team. As someone who sees themselves in the industry in long-term, I plan to apply this knowledge in my future work.

What are your future goals in the film industry, and how do you see your experience as a MultiChoice Talent Factory intern helping you to achieve these goals?

My future goal in the film industry is to become a director and producer of my own feature films. My experience as a MultiChoice Talent Factory intern has been invaluable in giving me the practical skills and knowledge I need to achieve this goal. It's given me the opportunity to work on a professional film set and learn from some of the best in the industry.
