Dimitri is a development sociologist specialising in media, research and information and communications technologies (ICT). His impressive list of current and former clients include market research organisations, broadcasters, advertising agencies, film and video production companies, national, provincial and local government departments and agencies, and State-Owned Enterprises. He has an extensive network of high-level contacts both within the private and the public sector in South Africa and internationally.
He provides consulting services to a small base of selected clients through MCM Consulting, with a focus on start-ups and greenfields ventures. With his passion for new media and his constant search for the big ideas he has the joy of working with young African entrepreneurs. He has travelled across Africa and has drawn inspiration from the deep wells of creativity among the diverse peoples of Africa.
