bio
Reagan Omuya – Filmmaker | Screenwriter | Storyteller
I am a passionate Kenyan filmmaker, screenwriter, and storyteller dedicated to bringing African narratives to life. My work explores futuristic and mythological African stories, social issues, and technology-driven narratives, blending culture with innovation.
I specialize in short films, animated storytelling, and screenwriting, and I run Wonlee Films, a growing platform for African cinema. Through my faceless YouTube channel, I create AI-animated African stories focusing on village myths, supernatural folklore, and mysteries.
Currently, I am working on Blueprint Dreams, a short film about a young student developing an AI-powered app, and I am actively seeking sponsorships, collaborations, and funding to bring my projects to life. Despite financial challenges, I have successfully secured shooting locations for free and built a dedicated volunteer cast and crew.
My goal is to push African storytelling to a global audience, proving that great stories can be told with passion, creativity, and resilience.
