Lauren Scholtz is a screenwriter, actress and emerging filmmaker with a BA (Hons) in Film Studies from UCT. She has over 15 years’ experience as an ad agency TVC Producer and 4 years of online content writing experience. Her acting credits include roles in Arendsvlei, Blood and Water, The Devil Speaks, Die Sentrum and American Monster. Lauren storylined on Troukoors S1 (Showmax) and currently works as a storyliner on Arendsvlei and Diepe Waters (kykNet). Furthermore, she is a Silwerskermfees Pitch To Us 2023 winner and a current DFMI Business Lab participant.
