Tshidiso Setshogwe Work Profile Content Producer , Photographer, Camera Operator, Assistant Director, Events Producer Tshidiso Setshogwe was born and bred in Johannesburg - Meadowlands in Soweto. Growing up with the culture of Kwaito and dance in Meadowlands, Kwaito as influence by musicians such as Kamazu, Trompies and many more. Although Kwaito was my influence in my early childhood days, hip hop, spoken word, jazz and reggae became my choice of expression. I became more than just a performer in the late 90s I was one of the youngest member of Black Sunday event coordinator which gave birth to a brand named Made in Soweto. Driven by passion and the love of the Arts I joined CICI (creative inner city initiative) where was developed as a writer, producer and art of recycling waste to wow. I was one of the founding members of a youth arts group called Dipeu Tsa Kumba (seeds of creativity) which gave birth to the Newtown poetry and live music scene, in the early 2000 I worked for an arts organisation called SOE (sounds of edutainment) as an events coordinator ,workshops organiser. SOE produced Jozi spoken Words Fest and the first Jozi book fair In the year 2000 I formed a band named skin2skin which later became skin2soul as lead vocalist, band manger and marketing. I also increased my set of skills in film, theatre by attending workshops provided by the NFVF and Market theatre Lab. I worked on film set for King Shuft (sunrise production) as assistance director on music videos Busisiwe Ntintili (side walk production) as camera operator and editor. I was part of the cast of Go dumo dumo a musical by Kgafe wa Magugudi. In 2011, 2012 I worked for Joy of jazz as a stage manager and assistance site manager in the same year I worked on Sizzla kolonji Jamaican musician SA tour as production coordinator and marketing. In 2016 produced the first short documentary on EP launch for the Urban Village as His and Hers Jams, we have produced a monthly events that have managed provide platform and networking for different arts forms still operational to date. 2017 DOP and Assistant editor for Access Africa Channel for its business show travelled to different African countries shooting South African business working in the balance of the continent.
