I am a Sound Recordist/mixer, Boom Operator, sound editor and designer from Nairobi Kenya. Also a good Camera operator and scriptwriter ,and animator. Graduate from the Kenya Film School majoring in Sound and cinematography. and currently a student at the school of journalism at the University of Nairobi Majoring in Broadcast journalism.
I have worked in various projects, from Feature films , to documentaries, to art video projects and animations. Most of which have been award nominated or seen in festivals in many places in the world.

Having recently graduated from film school having worked on 3 major film school productions , a couple of documentaries and animations. I am currently working as a freelance sound recordist/sound editor/sound designer/composer as I seek internship. I have worked on an award nominated animation as a sound designer and animator. I have edited sound for various short films and projects and vlogs . I am currently working on sounds for my own shorts and a game that I have been working on. Also I am working as a co scriptwriter, sound designer and dialogue animator for a project for the Association of Slum media Organisations

studio assistant/session musician, bin khalid sonic pollution studios
I have been a studio and live event sound set up assistant here for a while now. I have also played bass and synthesizers in various songs that have received Radio airplay. I am currently working on an Electronic Music album based on exploring various hardware synthesizer sounds in an African context with a global Electronic dance music background. As an assistant I help in setting up the studio for recording sessions , rehearsal sessions and for scoring of movies.

bassist/backup vocalist/ co songwriter, powerslide band
Played bass, sang backup, and co-wrote songs with the Kenyan punk rock band. Much of the songs received a lot of radio airplay. We played many concerts, some of which were in very remote areas outside where we assisted in the setting up of sound. I recorded, co-wrote a whole album with the band that is set to be released this year.

I co-founded a media organization that deals with recording distributing of Kenyan alternative music, event promotion and organizing and promoting alternative music and other media in Kenya and providing sound equipment solutions and assistance in areas that require our assistance. We have distributed a lot alternative music in Kenya and have recorded a lot of musician and assisted many bands in finding affordable practice space .
