Babili Maseko is a Swazi born- South African Photographer and Independent Filmmaker. He was born in 1990 in a small farm in the eastern part of Swaziland. He lives in the city of Johannesburg. He started his creative arts studies at the Vega School of Photography then later enrolled for Film and TV production at City Varsity School of creative arts. He has worked as a photojournalist at Independent Newspapers for a period of 6 months before retiring to travel the world and tell stories through the lens. In 2014 he shot and produced Killjoy (Feature film) he recently directed the action crime drama Deleterious (Short Film) starring the legendary Luthuli Dlamini. He is also the co-founder of a film production company called The Blackmagician.
