Mapule Mokete from Sasolburg in the Free State province is a 23 year old storyteller. Her aspiration is to tell stories that light up the world. The academy has granted her the opportunity to learn and sharpen her skills as a film writer and director. She believes that there is still a lot more to learn about film production, and is excited to see what the industry has in store for her.

Luthando Nkambule, is a 22 years old from Middelburg in Mpumalanga. She’s a creative from a small town who wants to make a big impact in the industry of filmmaking – she’s passionate about telling South African stories and grateful for the opportunity to sharpen her skills and perfect her craft. Luthando is well on her way to achieving her dreams of being a writer and director, through MultiChoice Talent Factory.

Siya Mseleku, hails all the way from Pietermaritzburg, KZN. The 25 year old has always looked up to amazing female directors both locally and internationally, the likes of Amanda Lane, Sara Blecher and Issa Rae. During this internship, Siyabonga aims to become a better writer and director.

Nkululeko Mkhomazi, well known as Ogcwala Ngomoya, is a 26 year old from Mpumalanga, Mbombela in Pienaar. He’s a storyteller and director with a great passion and recognition for the potential that South Africa carries in telling globally recognised narratives. Being part of the Multichoice Talent Factory is a big opportunity that he believes God orchestrated to launch him into the industry so that he can make his contribution and fulfil his purpose.

Boitelo Mosese, is a 21-year-old aspiring director of photography, art director as well as sound mixer from Bloemfontein. She’s a film, television and entertainment production graduate from AFDA. Boitelo aspires to develop a creative hub back home because of the lack of opportunities and look to grow her creativity in storytelling through a lens, set designing and raw sound.
