Aptly Nicknamed Leo Author for his passion for writing (and his star sign), up and coming filmmaker Masuzyo Mwale is looking forward to joining MTF in its second year and the potential to create fresh content with fellow emerging creatives.
“Africa is a treasure trove of untold stories and requires different voices to tell them,” says 26-year-old Masuzyo, who is excited about being one of the filmmakers sharing distinct narratives in the video entertainment industry. Masuzyo says his dream career is to be a TV and movie director, and add to the continent’s ever-growing creative industries.
“Over the last few years, Africa’s film industry has really improved. Each year we are creating better film productions. So the future of our film industry looks very bright.”
