Cosmas Shambayi Ng’andwe is a 21-year-old actor, director and poet from Lusaka, who dreams of becoming a filmmaker.
An avid writer and imaginative thinker as well as a fan of African film and TV, Cosmas, who studied computer science after high school, says he is gearing up for a fruitful career in filmmaking. Beyond writing, Cosmas hopes that he will be able to learn new skills such as cinematography and sharpen his knowledge of directing.
Inspired by the work of TV creator Frank Sibbuku, Cosmas says he believes the MTF experience will provide him with an understanding of maximising his potential.
