Twenty-year-old Christine Mulemeli recently graduated with a certificate in Citizen Journalism, from Lusaka’s House of Consciousness development programme, Mama Sosa, which is aimed at empowering young women in Kanyama through journalism.
With a qualification in hand, a passion for storytelling and a mind full of creative ideas, Christine is ready to take part in MTF. At the Zambia-based MTF academy, Christine says she is excited to nurture her skills in narrative creation, and is dedicated to developing authentic stories that speak to her and her community.
In the near future, Christine says she hopes to impart the programme’s curriculum with young people of Zambia interested in film and TV making.
