“Everyone wants our stories, and we should be the ones to tell them,” says Masego Keduetswe Mohwasa proudly about the global focus on Africa and the need for Africans to tell their own stories.
Born in Ramotswa, Botswana, 26-year-old Masego has a degree in motion picture from AFDA film school in Botswana, and is excited to be part of this year’s MTF programme as a way to further her dreams of becoming a film writer and director, and telling authentic Motswana stories.
“I am hoping to gain more perspective and new techniques for storytelling from being at MultiChoice Talent Factory,” Masego adds.
