Maira Armanda Isaías Tauacale is a 21-year-old creative born and raised in Maputo. With a qualification in Journalism from Eduardo Mondlane University and one in Production from the Television of Mozambique Training Centre, Maira feels as though she has a solid foundation in film and TV, but believes that being at MTF will give the necessary experience, training and networking to succeed in the industry.
“Being part of this project is a great opportunity. It’s the know-how that this academy can give us students, as well as the experience and connections with the best that Africa has to offer.” Maira’s dream is to one be a world-class producer that changes how people think about content.
“I’m very creative and love everything about culture – I think those values are a plus in this industry. With my ambition to make a statement about the value of Africa, I will give the strength this industry needs to continue making a global impact.”
