About the Event
The Byron Bay Film Festival is a platform whereby outstanding independent film talent are able to showcase their uniquely rich and diverse program of entertaining, inspiring and thought-provoking films. The Byron Bay International Film Festival will take place on 21 October and 30 October 2022.
The festival is the largest film festival event in Australia, it brings a touch of glamour to Byron during its 10-day fiesta and brings audiences closer to the industry than anywhere else, with red carpet and networking events. The Byron Bay Film Festival is Australia's largest regional film festival.
It is an AACTA Awards accredited independent awards-based film event held in the late Australian summer at the Byron Community & Cultural Centre, in the coastal town of Byron Bay.
