Hello my name is Teacher Miss Naicker and I studied at the University Of Johannesburg for a National Diploma In Transport. I currently teach at the University Of Johannesburg as a Tutor.
My hobbies are reading,writing, taking long walks on the beach, bird watching, attending all the nature reserve activities where I live. We currently have a Kids Club with fun activities such as kids slides and pools,jungle gym,play area,soccer field, tennis and squash courts we also have dolphin and whale watching, lake and waterfalls tours, scuba diving and sky adventures for the kids to tag along.I also love taking holidays in and around the country. I have travelled to Game Reserves and Caves in the mountains. I have enjoyed many a good time. My favourite of all adventures is the Oribi Gorge Trip where I saw lots of animals, caves and deep gulleys of many a kind. My favourite activity from all the trips was the Zipline and how scary it was.
My favourite books are by children’s authors Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton. Most of which I have already watched the movie to.
I am currently studying towards my Tefl Certificate and I specialise in Business English/One to One/Teaching Other Subjects In English and IELTS Exam prep.
I am able to teach Yoga and look forward meeting new students. As a form of relaxation and mind awakening it is used as a class mechanism.
My teaching style is very warm and relaxed. I use flipped classroom, project based and inquiry based teaching.
I have 2 years teaching religious classes at Sssvikas where I learned the basic principles and meditation formats of life.
At present I am teaching online for NGS and DG. Thus far it has been a learning curb and certainly one filled with excitement,laughter and happiness. A trying yet enduring time to learn and give more have become a thing to remember. I’m certainly enjoying my teaching sessions and would like to invite you to my class.
I have worked as Community Teacher previously during the area get togethers. Arranging and facilitating children. Arranging activities on the local grounds, local meeting spots and engaging with parents during this time.
I assisted with the Sunday School children for plays, outdoor activites and events. It is always nice to mentor the children and watch them grow.
There have been many Community and Sunday School Projects that I have been involved in entailing video footage. I have learned to win students over by keeping them interested and motivated during class.
There have been some hiccups during the way but nothing that couldn’t be resolved easily. Sometimes students wouldn’t attend classes, sometimes the weather was bad or someone left their books at home. All in a day’s work. It started off as difficult and grew into good. Most of the students moved on to become very successful people in their spheres of life.
Teaching thus far has brought new endeavours into my life. I hope to achieve the best results as an Online Teacher and look forward to what the future holds for me. With that said I wish to see you soon in my class.
