Joe Mwale, an actor, entrepreneur and journalist by profession came on the acting spotlight when he featured on the Zambezi magic telenovela called Zuba. Acting has always been his passion which mostly started out in high school but made an impact on tv on his presenting role on the born and bred show on ZNBC TV1 after college then came Zuba in which he played a loanshark and Fate, a ZNBC TV1 series in which he plays a character of a playboy. He’s done some other underground feature and short films and working on other productions for Zambezi magic and ZNBC. He chose to be an actor because of the passion he has to entertain and educate people while portraying different characters. His dream is to break the Zambian film industry boarders and through the international film industry. Hasn’t won any awards or nominated for any yet but he says he’s yet to get that recognition he deserves soon. Born in the Copperbelt and raised in Lusaka, Joe Mwale’s acting career is shooting straight to stardom. Acting isn’t the only thing he can do as he can also mix beats on turn tables, thought he could rap back in college and he’s a good cook. Has worked with big dogs in the entertainment industry the likes of Innocent Smooth IK Kalaluka, Owas Ray Mwape and Robert Big Rob Nyirenda.
